Bios:
M.M. Chouinard is the USA Today, Publishers Weekly, and San Francisco Chronicle bestselling author of the Detective Jo Fournier series, The Vacation, and the amateur-sleuth series The Serial-Killer Guide to San Francisco. She has a Ph.D in developmental psychology from Stanford University and was one of the founding faculty members of the first American research university of the new millennium, U.C. Merced. She enjoys caffeine in all forms, amateur genealogy, crafting, baking, and anything to do with Halloween or the zombie apocalypse. She has three cats, a dog, and a husband who technically keeps her from being a crazy cat lady.
George Cramer is an enrolled descendant of the Karuk Tribe of California. He enjoyed a forty-year investigative career in law enforcement and private and corporate investigations. He attended the Institute of American Indian Arts, earning a Master of Fine Arts / Creative Writing – Fiction. As a licensed Private Investigator, George conducted thousands of investigations throughout the Americas and Asia. He kept his investigative skills honed by volunteering as a Missing Person investigator with a Northern California police department, where he became keenly aware of missing and murdered indigenous women (MMIW).
Victoria Kazarian, based in Silicon Valley, is a former tech professional who has also run her own bakery. She writes the Laughing Loaf Bakery cozy mysteries, set in the Santa Cruz Mountain redwoods, and Silicon Valley Murder, a police procedural series based on the Silicon Valley peninsula. She’s also contributed short stories to a number of anthologies.
Lisa Towles is an Amazon bestselling, award-winning crime novelist, most recently Specimen released in December 2024. She’s a passionate speaker on the topics of fiction writing, creativity, and self-care. Lisa is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, and International Thriller Writers and is deeply committed to supporting writers’ success through friendship, fellowship and community engagement. She is Board President of a Bay Area nonprofit (Bridgegood.org) and speaks frequently to groups of business leaders and writers. She has an MBA in IT Management and works full-time in the tech industry in the San Francisco Bay area.
